Why did Dragon*Con just pick up and move this year? Is it because the numerable hotels in which it was hosted in previous years simply were not big enough to accommodate everyone?
Or did something happen in year's past that forced the convention out?

New location? Where'd you get that idea. Website still says the Marriott Marquis, Hyatt, and Hilton are the host hotels. Everyone I know on staff is planning events in the same areas...

Dragon Con is hosted in 3 hotels; Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. Due to construction in all the hotels some panels and events have been moved around to house the growing population of con goers and events.
Nothing has happened just trying to house a convention that attracts over 50,000 people.

No, on the main page here for D*C someone posted that the con had moved to the Atlanta Convention Center...?
Or did I misconstrue something? I'm honestly befuddled. >_<;;;

Rumors are abound where the Masq will be held. Also there is no Atlanta Convention Center. We have the Atlanta Civic center which is where the Masq has been held a few times in the past. Also close by is The Georgia World Congress Center and then way south by the Airport is the Internation Congress Center. But I can assure you that Dragon Con is going to be right where it has been for a few years now. The Hyatt, Marriott Marquis and The Hilton.

Yeah! See??? (*points up to Darth Takeo's post*)
What's up with that?? Where is this place anyway? If not at the four main hotels?

Same three host hotels as last year.
