View Full Version : Link Cosplay (CD-i)

So yeah, as a joke I was thinking of doing a cosplay of Link from the Zelda CD-i games.
It's a relatively easy costume - the green tunic with a laced "V" cut, a red undershirt, a black belt with a gold buckle, brown pants, green hat with yellow trim, and brown boots with red trim.
Opinions on this? Maybe a whole hell of a lot of us should dress as CD-i characters and get a photo lol (only joking).
I'll probably never get around to this costume, but it would be kind of funny!

Link in the CD-i doesn't look too different stylistically from the original LOZ Link. The art style sucked, but his character look isn't too different, especially up against the cartoon series Link.
Zelda looks different, granted (although she resembles her cartoon version too) but I don't know if the characters are well-known enough that anyone would know that you were doing CD-i version. :)

I suppose you're right...
But what if I brought some friends as the King, Zelda, and the guy on the Flying Carpet, and bring an MP3 player loaded with sound clips from the cutscenes? lol that would be mildly amusing...

Yeah, actually, they have a little thing going on from "Youtube Poops" and all, I say go for it, because chances are, you'll probably be recognized from people sort of going "Oh yeah! That bad CD-i game!"
Thats all, but yeah, bring a couple of your friends, maybe one can be CD-i Gannon too!

I just wonder what Ganon's up to!
There is no time - your sword is enough!
I wonder what's for dinner?
Wow! What are all those heads!?
Where is the map? Where is the map? Where is the map? Here is the map!
I can't wait to bomb some... dinner.

Dude though you know you're going to have to wear bright pink lipstick if you do it lol.
