View Full Version : What happened to Sailor Moon???

What happened to Sailor Moon? I used to be able to watch it on the Cartoon Network, but now it is ::sniff:: GONE! We don't have any fancy digital cable or anything, so does anyone know where I can watch it? I speak Japanese pretty well, so if it is on the iChannel, or International Channel or whatever it is called.:hafha:

mm ^^; as I hear, Salior moon is now being carried out in a live action play in Japan, and it's still continuing now. You could probably get soem episodes off of a japanese video store or something. *ahem* Anata wa, doko ni sundeimasuka?

Yeah.. They are doing Sailor X or something.. It is all live action.

As for sailor moon on Cable. Not in awhile. Sometimes Cartoon Network moves stuff around. It might show back up.

Yeah, it shifts it's shows - especially Reboot and Thundercats.

Aiii-ya! Thundercats is so retarded! My 'lil brother watches that show and I CANNOT STAND it!!! DBZ and Dragonball are cool...They are the only shows I still watch on Toonami! I LOVED Cardcaptors, too...And they took THAT off! I sent, like, 50 emails to Cartoon Network after they took it off!

P.S: Your avatar is really cute!

It is a show about hamsters that talk.. They translated it. :-) It is very cute! Can't wait to record it Monday. I think that is when it starts. I am unsure..

I saw ya'all post something about the sailor moon musicals they're doing in Japan.
They just go by Sailor Moon Musicals, but most people have shortened it to "Sera Myu" It's a lot of fun to watch and the myu has been going on since 1993 I believe.

just my two cents on Sailor moon...

Oh oh I know which hamster show you guys are talking about! It's called Hamtaro!

sailor moon just started airing on cartoon network again this past week. its on at 3 or 3:30, i'm not sure, my sister pointed it out to me, it was her first anime and one of mine too.
they are only a couple episodes into it... they started from the VERY beginning. you think the dubs were bad... till you see how bad the ORIGIONAL dubs were.. >.< ouch

I love watching Hamtaro but I can never remember to watch it! I always forget or come late... :(

Lucky for you - satellite gives me Eastern times when I'm on the Western coast so I get Cartoon Network shows 3 HOURS EARLIER >_< Oh well, all I really like on that show is the ending where Hamtaro dances XD

You have to give CN props. They've done a really good job getting anime out to masses, so I think the un-caring remark is undeserved. Now, as soon as I discovered subtitles, I stopped watching CN (I mean, c'mon, since when is hamtaro pronounced hahm-TEro? >_<) but I know a lot of people for who CN is their only access to anime. Sailormoon has been running since I was in, like, 8th grade at least, and you can get all the episodes (and manga) at the store. You can't blame them for wanting something new. As to where you can find SM, I would say check your local blockbuster. The ones around here carry a fair amount of anime, so you might get lucky ^_^

If you really want, I have damn near all (if not all) of the first two seasons of SM taped from Toonami from like 2 years ago. PM me if you want me to send them to you.

I don't know of any channel in Canada that still shows it..but even if they did it would start at the begining.....AGAIN!

lol not all the episodes are available. as it is a 200 episode series. plus it is like $30 for a DVD of 3-5 episodes. so I figure $10 an episode times 200 episodes is what ? like $2,000 for the whole series. plus the movies.
