I was basing my project on katie's tutorial found here :
http://www.pettingzoowigs.com/wigtutorial_parting.html

In the tutorial she uses a wig that has vertical seams in the wig, I just parted my wig to start and my wig doesn't have them, they just have horizontal wefts...

here's a pic:

So can someone tell me, can I still pull the hair through like Katie does or do I have to build a vertical seam? I really hope I can just keep going and not have to worry about it. let me know please :)

If there is a piece of net or lace between the seams, you should still be able to sew the hair to it. (Some wigs don't have a net, just horizontal elastic wefts, but they have the vertical stripes to keep them in place instead).

hey! thanks for the reply. Um it only has netting and wefts sewn onto the nettings. It doesnt have the vertical stripes like in the tutorial. you think it'd still work??

You should still be able to pull sections of hair through the netting; you'll just need to be careful and do it in a straight line down the center back. Perhaps baste a ribbon down the center or something?
