i am making a kurumi costume, and i'm not sure how to make her sleeves.
i've thought of a few ways to pull it off, but i'm looking for more.
i want them to look exactly like the pic, and if you look closely, they don't touch her arm. i'm not worried about them touching my arm, but i want the stiff bubble look that they have.

well im not an expert but you may have to use some kind of small, light, wirelike frame to do that.....how to do that part im not sure ^^;

Aye, definatley some wire frame.. but if you're up for comfort.. you can try using a plastic container.. and making a hole into it with some help.. and sewing the fabric on it... but that could be a bit troublesome ^^;

I juts finished a Kurumi costume and the sleeves were the worst part. I ended up useing heavy sew in interfaceing, wire, craft foam, and elastic all of this with a kinda heavy satin material. Just go with me on this one, if you can, use something in the cotton range if you haven't already bought fabric for it!
