3rd time attempting to post this as I still do not see my thread up:confused: ; if there is some kind of delay in posting new threads, sorry

Me and my friends are cosplaying as some Reborn! characters. As for myself, I am going as Tsunayoshi Sawada pic here http://lmpasse.deviantart.com/art/Tsuna-77554354.

He wears pretty distinctive orange shoes in the anime, (as for the manga, I have yet to find a color version of his shoes) and I am looking for something that looks like it.

Examples here:

^only problem is that the color is inaccurate

Currently, I am thinking about getting converse with orange sides, white everything else; but there's some inaccuracy with the lacing of the shoelaces.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated

converse or any similar shoe would work fine, as for the laces I'm not sure of the problem, do you mean the number of eyelets? or how to lace them certain ways? if its the lacing up problem check this site, http://www.shoe-lacing.com/shoelace/lacingmethods.htm has TONS of methods to lace them oh! did you know (if you're willing to shell out some extra cash >.>) you can order custom shoes from converse? go the website and you'll see, you wont have to end up coloring anything (I think) if you go that route.

Yeah, I know about the custom Converse thing; that's why I am leaning towards purchasing them if nothing better shows up.

As for the problem with the lacing, I meant that Converse shoes have those metal rings. Additionally, the tip of the shoe is more squarish than rounded as in the case of Converse.

Something else you could try is buying some white converses and coloring them with sharpies, then washing the extra ink off, of course, so it doesn't smear.

I don't think that the lacing is weird, really. It seems to me like the artist just left off the eyelets because that makes it too hard to draw and busy looking.
