Before anything else, I should tell you... The Ace Attorney games are the best games I have ever played. I'm a huge fan. <333
Anyway,

I'm going to Anime North this year, and thinking of going as Ema Skye (older version) from Gyakuten Saiban 4 (Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney). I'm a total n00b when it comes to cosplaying, and being that it is my first, I thought an Ema Skye cosplay would be pretty simple. But I have no idea where to start!

I could really use some help and feedback from anyone who's done an Ema Skye cosplay, and/or has a lot of experience. If have any questions for me concerning this issue, don't hesitate to ask!

(Note: I'd like to do a Lamiroir cosplay even more, but her outfit looks way to complicated. ><)

Both look pretty hard to me. Ema has a lot of stuff going on, and even though I can't help you much on construction, I know where there are some awesome reference images!

That's where I got all the references for my Olga Orly.

That's awesome! Thanks so much!!

Btw, you are amazing for doing an Olga Orly cosplay. I'd like to see how that turns out. <3

One of the best things to do is look for other people who have done the costume before. There are a couple floating around. I think most of this costume is comprised of buying/altering already existing items like the brown capris and light pink shirt.

BUT just because you can find some of the items doesn't mean that it should look like crappy closet cosplay. :D

(OH! and this should be moved to the Video games section)

There's some progress pix up in my gallery... not really finished though. But yea, defiantly check out other people that have done it. Look around in thrift stores & walmarts and I'm sure you can find some of her accessories!

I was thinking sort of along the same lines, But I think I may have to dye a few pieces of clothing in order to get the exact colors. I have no idea how to dye clothing... I'm also going to have to do the tie myself, I'm sure, and I'm nowhere near a practical sewer. X_x; Those are pretty much the two main issues I have, and what to do about her bag...

Oh! I'm sorry~ I'll be sure to, erm, move it? Or make another topic on the correct forum. Thanks for the heads up. :'D

Don't made another thread. Just PM one of the mods and they'll move it for you.
