Nightmare costume in the making. It'll be quite a feat, as I have never made even so much as a prop, but it can be done. I am nothing if not a determined man of faith, however should anyone have any advice for me, it would be supremely appreciated.

My only problem so far is getting that enormous hand of his to actually work. I want it to be large enough to do his almighty evilness justice, but I don't want it to just hang there like a limp and useless dead limb. If I make it small enough to fit my hand, it will look disproportionate. Hm... A dilemma...

Anywho, advice and feedback much appreciated.

Nightmare, the costume I am doing, that is. Might combine elements of this first one with the second link.

And some helmet detail.

maybe a ring to wire system around your fingertips connected to the finger segments. Will prolly involve complicated threading and whatnot, but that is the only way I can think of making it happen.

Watch the ninja special of myth busters, in it They make an animatronic hand out of motorcycle chain. you can substitute the links for something else, but its a great reference point.
