You should had posted in the other thread (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13168)

Anyhow, some recommanded patterns from the HP Costumes ML:

McCall's 3663 (http://www.smartcart.com/1sew/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=3663mc)
(The Blue Robe on the left)

Simplicity 5840 (http://www.simplicity.com/design.cfm?designId=7052&design=5840)
Design Picture (http://www.simplicity.com/assets/5840/5840fb.gif)

Both need modifications.

Personally, I'm using Simplicity 8944 , the 1999 SW Robe/Kimonos Inspired Pattern. It's already at hand, cut and I like the straight cut that the robe have.

Actual material used is wool or wool mix.

I'm using a Polyester Suiting that got this twill/wool/cotton look to it and drape well (it's quite weighted down too!). My friends had used Cotton Drill, Cotton-Poly, Satin :eeek: and one of them even thot of using Velvet. :eeek:

I'll be using a lingere pattern. XD I also altered the same pattern for my Shuichi jacket. You can go and use a pattern from either Simplicity of McCalls, and looks for intimate apparel.... a long nightrobe works very well.
