Just a quick question... Where do you guys get those cool ears?? The closest thing I can find are the pointy Spock ears. >___<

Thanks for the help!

Most people make them. ^_^;

I got mine from High Tower Crafts.

They come with liquid latex for application. The only problem is they're in the UK, and don't do online orders. You have to mail it in or call. I called mine in, they seemed like nice people. Also since they're in the UK, if you're not, you won't be able to rush ship the ears.

Well, my ears were Woochie brand ears, they're a little longer and cover the entire outer edge of the ear, so it's easier to blend them with your natural ear. They were called 'Troll Ears', but you'll have to search for them. They shouldn't be more than 15 dollars.

I made mine...

I used Woochie elf ears as well (since I'm not talented enough to make my own elf ears). They're really great! They cover up a lot of your ear, but leave enough room for you to wear earings with your costume (not to mention they look quite convincing when worn correctly). ^ ^

I had stupid pointy Spock ears, but that was because I didn't have TIME to make my own. The ears I used weren't even mine, LOL. I borrowed them from a friend. ... Er, and I think I still have them. Somewhere. Yes. I'm planning on making my own, though, because it's nearly impossible to find ones that work perfectly, and I'm becoming SUCH a perfectionist when it comes to cosplay... Oi.

yup when you make your own things they turn out the way YOU whant them ( after several tries lol) but you also get that satisfaction that it was your beautiful work and not your wallets!

Does anyone have any tutorials or what not for how to make these wonderful ears? I can't even find any that appeal to me (to buy that is), and I really would like to be more "hands on" on this type of thing.

hrmm I've always wanted to experiment with making ears out of model magic... O_o

well if you're going to be wearing a wig, then you can make ears and put them on a headband =D very convenient

Waaah >_< Elf ears... so has anyone else had the problem that their ears are too big to wear any commercial brands? XD

I would have to agree that making your own ears is better. Even if you don't care for the pride of making vs. buying or any of that other sentimental stuff... you should still make ears because custom ears just fit so much better! Just experiment with some claylike materials.

I swear... my ears aren't that big.... >_>
