Nkaaay... So, I was thinking... I mean... I know about Morning Musume and Utada Hikaru and Shiina Ringo and so, buut... I'd really like to see more female japanese musicians, favourably j-rock girls. Aaaand since I know... this much... about Japanese pop/rock, I'll ask you wise people for some names. ^_______^ In specific, I'm looking for both cute (jpop) girls and jrock girls, they don't even have to be vocals or anything.. (No, Shinya does _not_ count. xD) Basically just to see more styles. If that makes any sense. O_o
-Kumi from Love Psychedelico
-Yuki formerly from Judy and Mary
-Tomoko from the brilliant green (also had an 80s synth pop career as Tommy febrary6)
-Puffy (aka Puffy AmiYumi)
There's more on the jpop side I'm forgetting at the moment but it's a good start, ne?

Well, there's always Kana. I don't know anything about her, but her outfits are mighty cute! There aren't that many girls in j-rock though. Lucifer Lucious Violenoue is awesome, but she's not so much cute... I think she's really pretty though. ^^

My fave JRocker is Kana. She is awesome and very unique. If you listen to anyone, it should beer her! XD

Well... Inugami Circus-dan has a female vocalist (Kyoko?) and their music seems ok ^^ ..same with Onmyouza. I'd say Kana as well but you'd have to get used to her voice >_>;; Oh! I almost forgot, a lot of people like Youjeen as well.

Aikawa Nanase & Shiina Ringo, aren't they considered J-rock but also J-pop at times too? Well, yes Kana's voice seems to bother some people at first since she sounds like a little girl most of the time...^.^; (For Momo she didn't sound too much like a little girl). Well Kana is adorable, and she has alot of unique interesting costumes.
ah.. even tho' it's not jrock and not really jpop (more on the Soul/Blues/R&B type dealy) Misia and Bonnie Pink are completely awesome musicians, so I highly recommend them if your willing to give that type of music a chance.
