Ok, I'm jumping the gun by about 2 days.... Officially my site doesn't open until the 3rd, but for you guys...
Anyway, I'm announcing the arrival of my new online comic, "Building 12". Issue 1 is now online. Please check it out and let me know what you think at:

Not bad, I could've done without the fanservice page ^_~
Yay! Cute guys. It sounds a bit like my dorm, but our crossdresser graduated.
I really like your character designs, but it doesn't seem like the props / scenery are getting the same effort.

I like it! Not bothered by the props/scenery . . . am vaguely by the fan service lol. FYI, binding oneself with athletic tape HURTS (speaks from experience). If she was doing it every day, I doubt she'd use that . . . well, irrelevant anyway, lol. It kind of reminds me of the Jar (I mean that in a good sense). Look forward to seeing more.

Well, I just figured that rather than have blatantly pandering fanservice IN the comic and have people point out what blatant pandering fanservice it was, I would just put in a page that advertised what it was and got it out of the way for people who want that kinda stuff. That way, people who didn't want to see it could just skip it, but it would be there for those who wanted it. Kind of a "best of both worlds" kind of thing. ;)
Yeah, Backgrounds are kinda my weakness. I've always considered myself a character artist, but I'm working on the background thing. I just find backgrounds less interesting to draw than people.
The plot starts in the next issue, as this was just kind of a "get to know everyone" sort of issue. Honestly, I think the script for issue 2 is actually much funnier than the script for issue 1 was. I have a few more characters to introduce too.
Hope to get the cover of issue 2 up next week and a page a week after that.
Out of curiosity, who is everyone's favorite character far? (Yes, it may be a bit early for this question, but I'm looking for feedback and direction for future issues...)

I like it :) It kinda reminds me of the movie PCU. (Like the comic would be the people *in* the Pit.)
My favorite character is Alex, so far. For multiple reasons and I can imagine her character kinda going more in-depth than the others.

Yes, people are more fun to draw IMO. It's not bad, it just detracts from a few scenes. I'm sure if you keep drawing it'll just improve. I didn't mean to sound too harsh, sorry!
My fave character is the new guy, definitely. Maybe that's just because we saw the first chapter from his eyes.
