I haven't bought the wig yet (lack of money), but I know which one I'm gonna buy. It's black and a bit longer than in the pictures, and it's kinda wavy.
So I need some help on how to straighten it... and cut the bangs and style the wig like this:

Thank you in advance. :)

Kate is amazing with wigs, and there's a tutorial on her site on how to straighten heir, without hurting the wig at all. (Since too much heat will do that in a snap)

I'm hardly an expert on wig styling, but for straightening, I know a flatiron will work. Just be VERY careful, or it will melt your wig - put it on the lowest setting, and don't use it for more than two or three strokes per section of hair, or it will frizz up and look nasty. I used a flatiron to straighten my Lain wig, and also to help out a bit on my Adora wig (pictures in gallery, if you're interested). Best of luck!

Thank you! :)
I think I'll do it like it says in Katie's tutorial... I don't wanna burn my wig. ^^;;; It's already expensive enough to buy one.
BTW Dia, those Suu wings are just amazing!

Oh, my, I hadn't even seen her tutorial... and here I've been using a flatiron on my wigs for a while now ^^

Oh, and thank you for the compliment *grins*

Well, like I said in the tutorial, if you've been using an iron with wigs and you haven't melted one, consider yourself lucky. ~_^

For those of us who *aren't* so lucky, I'd recommend the safer method.

*laughs* Oh, no, I completely understand. I'm surprised I haven't melted one yet. I think I'll try your method from now on as well, it's definitely safer.

I do love your Lain wig though. Did you buy it that choppy or did you actually cut it yourself? I'm getting set to do my own Ran wig (Abe certainly seems to like choppy cuts, doesn't he?).
