My sister and I are going to be crossplaying as goth versions of Dilandau and Van at Shoujocon next week. And I'm liking the costume, but I really want to add some makeup to it--heavy black eyeliner, dark lipstick, that sort of thing--but everytime I try, I wind up looking like a girl again. Anyone have any ideas on goth-style makeup for crossplay?

i would suggest lining the eyes all around heavily.. and not using an mascara, thickining your eyebrows, this can be done with pencil or mascara, and when you put on the lip stick stay well indie you natural lip shape, since commonly guys have smaller lips.. not all of them do by any means.. but it's a way to help craeat a more male look. if the rest of your lip is noticable try using concealer on your whole face and lips.. and use a powder. you could use some shading technics as well you make your face appear more masculine and squarish.. if you want anymore help from myself drop me a line....

Try the diffrence between liquid and pencil eyeliner, then maybe some white powder, and add diffrent laers of it ... may help
