Alright, has anyone here cosplayed Chihiro from Spirited Away in her pink work outfit? D: I have fabric, tons and tooons of fabric, but I really don't know how to go about making her top. Tips anyone? I need to finish it by September 18th at the latest for Mikomicon.

Thank you. c:

I'm not sure if I'm too late jumping in on this or not, but might as well post anyway with my two cents~
I made my friend's Chihiro cosplay, as well as my Haku. At first I was pretty stuck with what to do, but I came across these:

It helps break down the entire outfit so that you can get an idea of what's going on with all those layers and ties and things. It even shows how to do the tasuki chord! 8D

As for a pattern you can use, I can't be much help, since I made our patterns from scratch. But you could use a tunic pattern of some sort and alter it. You would just have to make the sleeves larger, pants poofier, with the slits, etc. Oh, and we used a fabric called "symphony broadcloth". Usually I'm not a fan of broadcloth, but it was on sale, and had the perfect colors. And since it has polyester in it, it ironed and layed nice during wear. For Sen's white chord, we just used a long ribbon I had lying around. ^__^ Hope that helps!!
