Haoi! Ok, I was just wondering since me & my friends r planning to do a Naruto group in 2006... (Plannin' ahead I guess...) And we were wondering if u could tell us the name of these two luvly ninja girls... (Also to find some full shots of them!) *Points to attachments* And if there's a person in Winnipeg... (That's were we live) can be our subsitute Kakashi if our Kakashi (Will, u better NOT MOVE! {My Will aka Cid Highwind}) moves... We thank u for taking the time to view this thread & help us with our needs...

(There was a slight costume change with Will... Since I was gonna be originally Kakashi, but Will wanted to be him & he might be taller than me... So I'm settling as Sasuke...)

The "Eyeless" girl is Hyuuga Hinata, and Sakura's rival is Yomanaka Ino.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help! If someone could have/get full shots of those 2 girls would really help out!

I was wondering if anyone had some pictures of Sakura's dress from behind? The one with no sleeves that is. Thanks! ^_^

08-22-2003, 07:33 PM
Eto... I don't remember Sakura wearing one without sleeves... can you reference me to the episode?

That was what I was thinking but I saw some other people cosplaying as her with the circle on both the front and the back. I wasn't sure. So circle in the front on the bottom and circle on the back near the top then?

This dress. Lovely pic hmm? ^_^

Sakura's costume has circles on the sleeves. with a white line to the sleeve. It's a one piece dress with a circle on the front on the bottom, and a circle on the back in the middle of the back area of the body not the end of the dress. The edges are lined with a white line on the bottom of the dress. But I've never seen in the Anime a sleeveless dress... or at least, I can remember from

The edges are also lined at the sleeves. Did you need reference pictures of her actual dress (with sleeves)?

From what I can tell, Sakura's dress between the sleeved and the sleeveless is virtually the same. Her hair covers the circle which is on the back, but in some episodes, you can see it. If you watch episode 21, about 9:54 into the episode, you'll see Sakura's back. Apparently, from around episode 20, I think Sakura is in her summer dress, which is the same as her winter dress, with out the sleeves... either that, the animators got lazy drawing the sleeves, and decided for a costume change.

I know what dress you're talking about but the attachment on my previous post is a picture from episode 20 where it's sleeveless.

http://cosplaylab.com/cosplayers/costumes/details.asp?costumeid=29239 This is an amazing cosplayer with the dress I'm looking to make.

You guys firgure out how to make the shoes yet? I am going as Hinata and I used a McCall's fleece vest/jacket pattern to make the jacket. The vest pattern included could also help you make the Kakashi's vest. If you are interested, look at Daala's gallery for the shoes(we just figured out how to make them this weekend)
Good luck! And I'll try to post some pics of my Hinata costume soon.

Since RX03 asked me for Kiba cosplay reference photos, I'll post 5 here for reference. The rest are available here: www.engr.ucr.edu/~jylee/kiba/ for as long as possible

To be a bit more anal, as I was while making my Sakura costume, the circle on the back is smaller than the one in the front bottom. The circles on the arms are also attached to the trim on the sleeves by a small part, so it's technically not separate pieces.

As for the sleeveless one, there is no white trim around the armholes but the white lining is visible. I also noticed that the "flaps" on the dress come down longer past the knees than the shortsleeve one.
