I am looking for locations in New York for nice photo shoots.
Places in Queens, Brooklyn, and mainly Manhattan would be perfect if there are any in those locations.
I know going to parks like Central Park or Botanical Garden's are usually good, but they wouldn't have the look I am going for.
For one photo shoot, I would like a place where there is an Asian kind of look.
The other shoot I would like a place with a Victorian look.
I dont want any places to have an entrance fee, but please kindly suggest any place where I would be able to take pictures and not have the staff yell at us or anything.
Thanks~

LOL /one month late

Uhh good luck sjfknea

I think there's some sort of botanical garden that was running a Japanese exhibit, but I'm not sure if it's still running and/or if it costs money.

If you're looking for a modern asian look, you can try Chinatown (which is really crowded!!!) or Flushing, Queens. I personally really like Flushing (Main Street and Northern Boulevard) which have pretty much everything written secondly in Chinese/Korean.

Uh, as for victorian... No idea; I hear there's a nice neighborhood in Brooklyn but I don't remember where it is. There's this place whose construction looks a little oldschool though... Pretty much all the buildings around Gramercy Park in Manhattan.

I bet if you can get on Columbia's campus, they'll have some nice victorianesque buildings.
