View Full Version : Hiding your rear?

I am considering venturing into the unique world of crossplay, however I have some concerns. While concealing my chest will not be much of a problem, concealing my rear will be. I do have a somewhat boyish figure, but as far as I know I have no means of flattening my backside to resemble the dimensionless plains of a man. Any ideas, or will I just have to be a Bart Fatima with assets?

Well theres ways to make it bigger but I've never heard of a way to make it smaller :P prehaps just choosing a man with a long shirt or jacket to cosplay as, something that will hide you assets. This may limit your choices but if you're that concerned prehaps careful chooseing is all you can do.

You could just wear an open bottom girdle or some type of support shorts..just try them on in the store and see if it flattens you enough...

Maybe you could try padding your waist too... it all depends on the costume allowing for it, though. Just gotta work the proportions. :D

Ah yes. The dilemma of stealthifying the posterior... T_T *l* It depends heavily on your intended target's wardrobe and.. how much you can modify it. Bart has a rather.. tight body suit, doesn't he? Ehh. I'm cosplaying Subaru, and he's also wearing a bodysuit. Frustration! ^_^;; I have no way to hide my figure.
At least Bart has some sort of white-chaps thing going on.. perhaps if you were to tinker with those and the way they fit over/around.. or is my thinking incorrect? I don't remember exactly WHAT those white things are, just that they're ON him. x_x Haah, I'm so helpful.
Oh, it has been suggested that the best way to cloak hips and hinder (insofar as photos are concerned) is finding a pose that does not expose your full front OR the full curve of your backside. ^_____^;

I'm working on posting an FAQ thread on this subject. I'm writing it out in MS word right now - maybe get it up tonight or so.
