View Full Version : Looking for a photographer for Otakon?

Hello, like the title states, I am looking for a photographer!
Well first things first, I am not 100% sure I am going to Otakon or not.
But if I cant then of course you would be informed and cancel the shoot.
Anyways, I have never been to Otakon before and maybe someone who would know the area well for a "Alice In Wonderland" themed cosplay.
I would be in a group if things go as planned so it'll probably be a...semi-big shoot?
Also, just letting you know, I am not that great with posing and holding a straight face, so someone who would have the patience would be nice.

I would be interested in doing a shoot! I am more than likely going to Otakon and would love to have a photoshoot! I will keep you updated as well, most likely in early July.
Last year was my first year going to Otakon and I didn't really see any locations with the Alice in Wonderland vibe to it since the area is pretty urban with the harbour nearby but I am sure we can find something. The cosplayers should be the focus; the background is what helps enhance the photo.
If you are interested in seeing some of my stuff (I am still quite new to cosplay photography), I have a few cosplay shots in this folder (http://myreasoninlife.deviantart.com/gallery/#Anime-North-2009-05-22-09-05-24-09) on my deviantart. Feel free to check out my other photos for a better feel.
I am hoping to also upload more photos along with doing more shoots before going to Otakon this summer.
Feel free to contact me via PM or through my email: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Alice in Wonderland is probably one of my FAVORITE movies. :) Oh, and I'm talking old school Disney, not the one that just came out.
I would LOVE to do a shoot with you. I know a few good places around the city, as I've been to Otakon at least 3 times.
Here's my Flickr for some examples of my work (http://www.flickr.com/photos/elizabethconforti/)
Message me on here if you see anything you like. :)
