I know there are some people who were considering Monster Hunter cosplay for Metro. I'm hoping to tackle some Rathalos armor from Freedom Unite to debut! Feel free to post if you're planning to join in on the tacky lameness! :3

I would like to try and do some MH armor, although i have to admit i havent really played the game too much. and i cant seem to find a site with decent reference photos of all the armors. the only ones i can find i like are rathalos and gravios,

but mabey im letting my hopes up, i doubt i could make them look any good since i just started getting into armor craft and only have 1 suit under my belt.

Someone posted both Monster Hunter illustration books on megaupload once, that's how I found all my art. Google also helps, as there are so many random images out there.

Monster Hunter has so many different outfits with varying degrees of difficulty. You don't have to do something ridiculously crazy, lol.

thanks Foos. i think i'll take a good look through them all. Also i got a basic idea how to make scales thanks to you Foos, but anyone know how to go about making something look like the rough dragon/monster hide?

You'd have to either make a mold and cast the stuff individually, or use paper mache or clay or something to actually sculpt it on.

Kinda know how I plan on doing it. Gotta go grab a crap-ton of tin foil and get started

hope I'll have time to make the sword too!
