Zephyr Game Shows is planning some game shows for Anime USA 2003 - and they will most assuredly be supreme. This will be our last convention of 2003 and we would like to thank all of our help, fans, and followers for a VERY successful year.

Introducing a BRAND NEW GAME SHOW AT ANIME USA, Zephyr Game Shows is trying out a new style of game show with "Iron Shonen." Remember the old contests where people would have to sit in a brand new car without leaving, and the last remaining contestant won the car? "Iron Shonen" is similar in concept. We would like to invite everybody to challenge their fandom by doing what some otaku would only consider a dream come true - TO WATCH ANIME FOR PRIZES. A surprise series (ranging from 13-20 episodes) will be shown in a video room in the late evening of Friday. This series is not mainstream, so you don't have to worry too much about sitting through a series for a second time. This series is not boring, so you don't have to worry about the agonizing torture of sitting through a revolting series like, say, a Sailor Moon SuperS marathon. So all that remains is the goal: TO STAY AWAKE AND ALERT. So make like a D&D gamer and pack some Jolt Cola. Maybe we'll offer snacks. Maybe we'll have some sort of surprises. Maybe you'd better be bathed ahead of time out of common courtesy for your peers. And maybe, just maybe, you can prove how avid a fan you are and be rewarded for it.

We will also be bringing our classic, "Anime Name that Tune," to Anime USA to test eight otaku and their knowledge of the world of anime music. Also, as everyone that is familiar with our group's long-term objective can attest, we will be taking the victor from "Anime Name that Tune" and inviting them to Katsucon 2004 to participate in the "Best of 2003" tournament for music-naming supremacy. This will be the very LAST chance to get into the February championship, so do not hesitate and be sure to attend and be ready. After Anime USA, you will have to challenge 2004 conventions for a possible chance in 2005. However, do YOU think you can contend with your peers?

::cues orchestra::

With such affairs as sorties, are you apt for Gravitation?
Does your MP3 collection have everything that's Asian?

Can your ears tell, by sound, a Hayashibara from a javelin?
Can you differentiate anything from the Violinist of Hamelin?

Do you know each Miyazaki from new Ghibli to old Horus?
Can you yodel out the ending to Spirited Away in full chorus?

Do you check out all that is Weiss Kruez though you know they're fruity?
And belch out Kenshin songs from TM R to Mary and Judy?

For your anime song knowledge, are you no easy pushover?
Do you dream about the casts of Wish, Angelic Layer, and Clover?

In short, in matters Fruits Basket, Chobits, and Princess Tutu
Are YOU the very model of the otaku song guru?

Think you might be? You know where to present yourself to win big prizes and prove it nationally. Have fun, minna-san.
