hello people ^__^

For halloween and probably a future convention I need to make an Inu Yasha costume. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a pattern of if someone has one or knows wehre to get one plz tell me. plz plz. ^____^

Ahhh.. you may want to try a karate gi pattern, or a kimono pattern (especially for the shirts). But either way there is ALOT of improvising and eyeballing for this costume. Just keep a lot of pix from the series nearby.

http://www.sengokudaimyo.com/katchu/16.Under.html This is basically what Inu Yasha's clothing is . aside from the overall looking shirt ontop of his Kimono. that would just be tucked in with the kimono before you tie the pants btw. Hope this helps ^_^ Rabid Inuyasha fangirl =P

Look for a book called "Make your Own Japanese Clothes". It has several patterns and directions that would be relavant to making this costume. You might have to do a little bit of improvisation (like I'm currently doing with Sesshoumaru) but it should come out nice.
