Alright, hey guys~
So I'm beginning to work on my Luna Lovegood cosplay. I'm so excited.
Annway.
I had a few questions for you guys.
Since it seems pretty much impossible to find a decent seller that sells the robes/school uniform, I was wondering what pattern or such you think would work for the HP robes.
Also, what kind of fabric should I buy to make the robes?
I know you can buy the little iron on House Crests to put on the front and such, as well as the tie and other things.
But, for fabric and pattern, I'm kind of lost.

Thanks for the help!

and wizardties.com for the tie :D

I've heard that whimsic alley's turnaround time has been very slow lately, so I avoided them like the plague. got my wand at Whirlwood, robes from MoonyCouture, sweater from Lochaven (the authentic supplier of sweaters for the movies) and my tie from WizardTies.

hey everyone!

I was at wizarding world the other day, and I caved and bought one of their robes because I didn't have time to get the whimsic alley robes before D*C. so now Pansy is done!

(i got caught in a rainstorm walking home from work, so my hair is wet and crazy in that pic). They aren't as high of quality as the whimsic alley robes, but I still love them!

Anyone ordered a wand from Whirlwood Wands before? I placed my order a week ago and I'm not sure what the turn-around time is usually like.

If you're really short on time, you can always try sanding down a dowel rod, attaching or coating it with a thin layer of sculpy or Air dry clay and building the handle out of sculpy or air dry clay, carving in any accents/looks and then letting it dry, sanding it again, and then paint it and coat in in a laquer

I know this may be too late but anyhow for the record
