With the new organization of the forums and a forum dedicated to Assassins creed, thought it might be a good idea to get a few threads rolling that are dedicated to specific characters from the series.

with the case of Altair & Ezio, the main assassins creed thread contains a ton of resources and stuff that would of great use to other cosplayers working on their outfits, but much of it is buried in its many pages.

During freetime, I'll be picking through the thread and digging out resources that have been posted on the thread, as well as personal research and such :).

(this post and the following to will be edited once gathering gets underway! )

Anywhoo, if this thread can be dedicated specifically to resources for Altair cosplays, that would be great (and make finding and sharing them much easier! )

Left Bracer Plates

The bracer plates are approximately 4 3/4 inches across (the bottom right one) on mine, and they fit the bracer nicely :)

Dagger sheath

The elements are to scale with eachother. These are on the sheath

When I was searching for resources for my costume I found this pattern which is probably the best pattern you're going to find. It covers the entire sewing part of the costume (except pants and red sash).

Don't make the mistake of buying from the fabric store(like I did) 5x the amount of money.

It comes with a pattern for the tunics and hood. The hood pattern does need a little finagling. What I did was at a 15" Long, 5 " Wide piece of fabric in for the center insert (I started the curvature that goes into a point 6" from the bottom). Hope this helps.

Here's a good look-around view of Altair: http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/d/d7/Assassin_low_in_game_by_phat3d.jpg

In general, the AC wiki has awesome reference images - I just wish they had this type of picture for Ezio >:T
