Looking for a pattern or a base I could use for her jacket, and I did find a place to buy the large zipper but I forgot the name D:
How would I make the ears? D:

Most of the people in the Blazblue thread seemed to be using patterns for fitted jackets with a flare at the end.

I can't recommend a specific base as a pattern, but I did create something of a guide for Kaka sleeves, although mine were made specifically for Kokonoe: http://i31.tinypic.com/s4uec0.png

This shows the basic shape you'll wanna end up with when making them. I added the sleeves into my coat after the side seams and such on the coat, since with the stuffing you'll want in the Kaka sleeve to get it to poof right means you need to sew foam or batting and then a lining in, probably. It also depends on whether you plan to put claws in. I didn't write it there but the blue line marked for Kokonoe's sleeve opening can also approximate where to put an invisible zipper so that you can stick your hands out of Tao's sleeves.

Hope this helps!

90 degree triangle, 120degree triangle, stuff ears, sew. That's how I'm working on mine. XD

Here's how I did my sleeves, and Kaka ears for my Jubei jacket.
Doing the sleeves this way makes it so you don't got seams on the side, and they'll be on the underside instead.
