Figured since we have a full section for multiple threads of everything who, to make a thread about costumes from the spin-offs of Doctor Who. Namely Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures.

So,...anyone interested in the like? I've been tickled by doing the Trickster from SJA, though figuring out how to A. replicate the face and B. Make up for my short stature are keeping me at bay.

What about everyone else?

I want to make a few Gwen costumes once I'm finished with most of Amys. The first one i'd want to make is from Everything Changes, with her pretty converse which I think I already own and the pizza boxes XD Because that would just be fun!

I'm a bit of a Ianto addict cosplayer but that's mostly just because I love suits.

My goal is find someone who cosplays Owen!

His coat is supposed to be an RAF coat like this: http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/british-militaria/miltary-uniforms/new-genuine-raf-great-coat-like-439384.html

The one he wears in the show isn't 100% accurate since John Barrowman is allergic to wool and the costumers made him a different one. Still, that's the design. Buying one can be a bit expensive but I've heard of people finding them cheap so I'm scour around ebay and the like.

As I just wanted to have Jack's coat in general (sucker for uniforms), I found that the pattern Vogue 1266 (http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/v1266-products-3946.php?page_id=265&search_control=display&list=search) has a coat that requires only a little altering to get the coat :)

I'd love to Cosplay a full blown Berserker from Sarah Jane Adventures one day.
I'd obviously do a female version, but the only thing that bothers me is the hair, since the only fully changed Human to Berserker we see has no hair, and the kid at the beginning doesn't completely change...so I can't help wondering, would the hair change blue/white too? XD

Otherwise, that's a future/dream Cosplay for me. ^_^

Those COTE shots are amazing!

I'm doing a Captain Jack Harkness for D*C 2011 but I doubt it will be as awesome as that one! Sadly my budget is very very tight and I am cutting corners here and there >.<

Resurrecting this thread so as not to create a new Torchwood thread...

I would really like to do a Doctor Who-related costume, and as I'm a historical costumer more than anything recently, I'm thinking of Diane Holmes, the pilot from the Torchwood episode "Out of Time". It's probably a good choice for a costume because even if no one gets the reference, it's still a cool historical costume. She's in the middle here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_p5UzgI-oy9I/S8hcVNiDJRI/AAAAAAAABhU/-oRDxtCHC2Q/s1600/1-10.jpg

The jacket looks pretty easy, and I need to get the wig anyway for Red Son Wonder Woman.

But you know what? I don't think I've ever seen that lining fabric for sale in a fabric store. Have you?

What's really cool about her outfit is that it doesn't involve wool, which the other two outfits I'd like to make from DW and its spinoffs (Harkness and Ten) do.
