I'm looking for a fairly heavy winter coating (a heavy melton will work and seems like it will be the easiest to find, but my heart isn't set on it or anything), and my main concern is that I'm looking for colour options.

I've looked at :

http://www.bblackandsons.com/fabrics-wool-coating-fabric-c-68_74.html
^ 16-18oz, so this is slightly lighter-weight than I would like (20-24oz)

and

http://www.macculloch-wallis.co.uk/
^ while I'd recommend them for tailoring supplies, they don't (at least currently) have much coating, they have one camel hair coating, but it doesn't list weight, which concerns me.

so far.

I was looking to see if there were any places that have more colour options (ideally, I'm hoping that a dark warm-ish green might match the collar and cuffs, otherwise, I'm looking for a darker brown (the camel that I keep finding doesn't seem quite dark enough), although the B. Black brown might work if I can't find anything else) or something slightly heavier in weight.

I admit, I'm also trying to find a good deal. I don't have a TON of money to spend per yard, and my absolute limit is $50/y, although I'd prefer if it was closer to $20/y.

Vogue fabrics has a really dark brown melton, however, they don't list the weight, either. Maybe you could email them asking for that info?

anyway, here's the link
