i'd like to dress up as Trish from the devil may cry video game, as my first cosplay.
her costume is relatively simple, except i'm not sure how i would go about making the zig zag split on the front of her top. by just slicing, it most likely wont hold up, maybe using some boning on the seam's edge? i'm not sure, please help!

"authentic" is the word i want this to be described as.

btw here's the best illustrative pic i could find for anyone who might not have played the games:

EDIT: posted the link to a better picture, despite it being fan-art.

Maybe you could just put clear fabric/material underneath it to keep it together.. or skin colored. I have Trish planned but I won't start it til I know how the heck to make the top, so.. yeah. Heh.

Better advice would be ... better. x.x; Good.

zig zag haha i thought u meant a joint :D

holy crap that guys art rules
well...you could just cut the zig zag...fold it in about half a CM...and sew it so that it doesnt come apart...
having it stay together so u wont be falling out...well.. you could put a clear strip near the middle/top so that its snug
