So I'm cosplaying Allen for my next con and since I fear wearing his full uniform in mid August heat I figured I'd make this outfit (http://i27.tinypic.com/2csidcm.jpg) to wear under my uniform and I can just take the jacket off when I get too hot.

With that outfit I'm going to need to make Allen's full cursed arm...this time I can't get away with just a glove modeled to the look like his cursed hand that goes up a little past my wrist.
Now I'm kinda stumped on how I'd go about making his arm.

Here's some reference shots of his arm:

It got really hard looking for references...so I put in some fanart as refs too.

Any help would be appreciated. Please and thanks!

You could do something similar to what you have now, but with a longer glove. I believe that there exist latex gloves that go up almost all the way up the arm, and that could maybe be used as a base to make what you need. It's been a while since I've seen D.Gray Man so I'm not too familiar with the character, so I don't know if that would work or not.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've been thinking of making a longer glove...my only hesitation with doing so is that gloves wrinkle and it'll make the arm look fake. But if I need to that'll be my last resort if I can't figure out any other ways.

I really outta not procrastinate...probably not gonna be able to get a really good quality arm with only 2 weeks till the con. >.>;

Any other suggestions?

I think if you made your own glove that was fit to your arm, instead of buying one in a predetermined size, it should work without too much wrinkling.

Get something with some stretch, but not too much or it might loosen by the end of the day.

neoprene,spandex,or better yet get some liquid latex heat it up and pour it on-tear off later...score one for S&M!

I would personal go with body paint and add small latex prosthetic for the joints in the hand ... and acrylic nails/black nail polish. lol

This version of his arm is much more human looking and I wanted to do this version (if I can't finish my clown crown version) but I'm not the right body build to pull it off.

The glove however is easier to pre-make but you can pre-make prosthetic as well.
