View Full Version : Dancing for Fitness!

So, I've seen a few threads about dancing to get in shape and stuff, and I made this one because I actually DO dance for fitness ^-^

This is kinda like a suggestion thing, to suggest a few dances to do. I'll admit, they're not the easiest to learn and/or do.

"Don't Drink Gin"
One of my favorites is to do is this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bijqh8XQWWk).

"Renai Circulation"
This one, I'll admit, I haven't even finished learning yet. It's a pretty good dance to do, though. Here it is (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBFgmMPWjV8).

"Hare Hare Yukai" Full Version
I know almost everyone knows this dance, but I feel I should post it. It's the full version, so it's a bit different from th TV size. I find a pretty good workout. Here it is (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b6SSNuWkd0).

"Saikyou Pare Parade"
This one is a little nice. It has a lot of hand movements, so it kinda strengthens them... I suppose. My arms got less jiggly after doing it a bit ^-^ Here it is. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcjYNpLJKf0&feature=related)

"Don't say 'Lazy'"
This one is done by one of my favorite dancers, Kozue Aikawa. I figured using her video as an example would be best, since she does the dances very well. (She also has other dances! Check her out! Her Youtube name is xxxayu3!) Here's her version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2le7kZmLY3I). If that one doesn't suit your needs, here's another version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYvL9I0bWMA&feature=related).

"Love & Joy" This one, like Renai Circulation, I haven't finished learning. There's slowed versions, so I'll post those, too. Normal Speed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdO6Ma7y3Ts&feature=related). A bit slower (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5QUh-OZJ74&feature=related). Very slow (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk3hU9xprfE&feature=related).

If anyone else has suggestions, just post. And sorry if there's been a similar thread, I just felt I needed to post this... ^^''

I might add more dances, if I find some more good ones. (I was just skimming my favorites on Youtube...)
