i'm doing Madame Red for the next anime con (6mon from now). As most of you know, Madame Red has an ... interesting ensemble. Does anyone know a pattern that I could use for her outfit?

I used Truly Victorian patterns for my jacket, skirt, and overskirt and a Burda pattern for the shirt. I just drafted up the cravat. I did a few modifications, but the patterns are very easy to use. Truly Victorian patterns can get pricey, but they are very good to work with and I recommend them to anyone.

Jacket: http://trulyvictorian.com/catalog/464.html
Skirt: http://trulyvictorian.com/catalog/221.html
Overskirt: http://trulyvictorian.com/catalog/368.html
Shirt: http://www.northbreeze.com/Patterns/DiscontinuedBurdaPatterns/BurdaPattern8023-F-BlouseIncludesPlusSize.htm

The modifications I made were leaving the double pointed lapel on the jacket and cutting the front and back into points instead of leaving them squared. On the skirt, I made the three tiers in the back with the pleats. And on the overskirt I left off the back part of the pattern and instead made two long tails that I tied into a bow in the back. I also wore a steel boned Victorian-style corset underneath, a small petticoat, and a bustle pillow I made. As for the hat, I just covered one I bought with the same fabric that I used for the outfit.

I can always PM you more detailed directions of what I did if you want. And I have pictures in my galleries of the finished product so you can see what changes I made to the patterns.
