Where are the best places to get corsets?

There are a bunch of places to get corsets. :]

My favorite is http://www.damseldress.com. Damsel in This Dress. She has the most amazing fabrics, and a variety of designs that will make you want to spend all of your money. xD But her prices are very reasonable.

http://www.stormyleather.com/ Stormy Leather is also really great quality. They sell some other erotic stuff, but just scroll down the right sidebar until you get to corsets. They're beautiful.

http://www.2cutelingerie.com/bustiers-corsets-143-ct.htm Some of the corsets here are a little generic; sometimes, however, you want something simple. :]

Of course, if you live anywhere near a mall, you can always purchase a relatively cheap corset from Frederick's of Hollywood. That's where I got my first corset - only $50 bucks, and I still have it even after I accidentally bleached it. xD Their associates are really helpful when you're new to corsets and lingerie-type stuff.

Good luck in your search! I hope I was able to help a little bit. <3

godmi linked you some great sites. And if those don't turn out to be what you want, you could try your hand at making your own. I do this a lot now. I learned how to make Victorian corsets using Laughing Moon 100. That pattern is great and has the busk down the front with full boning. It also can be done in varying cup sizes to accommodate fuller figures.

http://www.timeless-trends.com/ has affordable underbust corsets for relatively inexpensive. I've owned three now (I keep losing weight and shrinking out of them). They're really nice quality (low price reflects that they make their corsets in bulk, not poor quality). Their shipping is also rather fast.

I'm seconding this. I was a bit opposite-- I gained more weight after I was first measured for a corset and their exchange process is super-easy.

Of course, this is the one that I forgot! xD I actually own one of their corsets as well. I bought mine at one of their convention booths. They fit you spectacularly and have so many colors and fabrics and options.

I don't approve of bustiers and cheap corsets, so I go all out and buy tight lacing corsets even though I don't train my waist... yet. For a good quality corset that is not custom and inexpensive, I would recommend http://www.timeless-trends.com/. However, they do not carry any really Steampunk looking designs, so they would probably be better suited to be worn under a dress.

A site I know that has some nice Steampunk corsets is http://www.bruteforceleather.com/store/Scripts/default.asp.

For a truly wonderful custom corset (for serious waist training, but if you're loaded would also be nice for a costume), visit http://www.waspcreations.com/ They will work with you and make any corset dream you have come true.

For some other sites, look here: http://milieux.com/category.php?catid=19

I have two favorite sites for corsetry and corsetry items.

The first one is on the east coast, which is Delicious Boutique and Corsets. They also sell corset supplies, which is helpful if you do not feel like spending a lot of money and can sew. They do also offer custom corsets, which are gorgeous. (http://www.deliciousboutique.com/)

The second is on the west coast and it's Farthingales (http://www.farthingalesla.com/), which again sell corsets and supplies. They have beautiful plain corsets, which can be dyed or steampunked after purchase.

http://corset.net/ they're super nice, and they're at a lot of the cons I go to usually, and they have really well made corsets for a reasonable price. I've got 3 different corsets from them and am probably gonna be ordering another from them soon...^^;

I love this place. The people there really know what they're doing and their products are top quality. They do customs and pre-mades. They're a bit pricey but you won't be sorry if you buy from them. It's worth every penny.

Unfortunately, lingerie corsets are for "entertainment" purposes only, and are generally made from poor materials and don't last long.
