God I want to bang my head against the wall sometimes from the ignorance of people and supplements.

A girl told me I was trying to get people on "drug induced workouts" cause I recommended a pre-workout and protein? Serious? :confused:

Protein powder is no different than Nesquick powder, only difference is Nesquick is basically a CARB powder.

Pre-workouts are pretty much energy drinks.

I'm so sick of people going I take this to workout, and people going OMG steroids! I got called out on taking steroids cause I was taking Animal Pak vitamins at the gym in the past -_-;


List of stuff I take for workouts

Life force Multi-vitamin
Optimum Nutrition whey protein
Bodytech ZMA (zinc magnesium aparate -vitamin b6) which promotes a more restful sleep 4-6 hours of sleep will feel like 8-12.
Glucosamine Chondroitin / msm (joint support)
Controlled labs - white flood (pre-workout for energy)

In any field, you're always going to get people who talk as if they know plenty when they actually know very little.

Subsequently, the false or largely incorrect information they espouse spreads to others who are sorely lacking in knowledge and then suddenly you've got a whole bunch of people jumping to conclusions and making outlandish statements for no reason other than the fact that they think they know better than they do.

That's life. My advice is to try and educate those who misinformed if you're so inclined. Otherwise, forget 'em.

Protein powder is not a drug. Its nutrition. I can understand pre workout supplements, but we have said in the past those aren't necessary.

And I second the Steroid myth. People for some reason think steroids are the only reason people gets muscles. never mind the fact they have busted their tails exercising, lifting and dieting. Their secret HAS to be the juice. Yeah right. That is as insulting if not more insulting than saying to a pro gamer he must use cheat codes in order to be good. You will never see me on any of that crap. Mainly because one they are illegal, and two they do more harm to your body than "help".

probably since most people over diet and over workout at the sametime end up feeling like shit, or some just don't workout at all. Most people stay at the gym for 2 hours and maybe do 5 sets of exercises and leave, which 70% and up of weight lifters never break a sweat.

Totally true. There is this group of high schoolers that huddle around one machine and just talk about stuff. One of them uses really light weights really fast and still wonders why they arent getting results. I gave a few tips, But im not you know in their face about it either. but they seem set on doing their thing.

gym edicate is pretty delicate since they're all muscle heads. If you tell someone they shouldn't try maxing out every workout they look at you like deer in headlights and keep going.

I find it that girls are the only ones that are usually always willing to listen.

its more of an social thing for them. that what personal trainers are for, when no one your around is pushing you to want to work harder. "oh yeah i go to the gym everyday for 2 hours"

for me if i were an member at a jym i would be going all out. i already have to walk up lots of laters and carry heavy stuff at work, if i'm going to pay for it damn sure i'm going to get everything out of it.

it's easy to get distracted at my gym since there's 15+ people that goes to the gym, but after they close we just sit around in the parking lot catching up and talking shit and doing the things that guys do like urinating on the fence and joking about buff ants after we pee on the hills :)

lol yep, but some guys are on pro-hormones which are basically turns into steroids in your body which is legal for 6 months til the FDA evaluates it. So when they take a piss we joke that a whole sandwich will be moving from 1 ant =)

i take protein for breakfast, or i try to... And i havn't taken creatine for a month because I havent had any success with it (im going back on it tommorrow because ive changed my routine) and im seriously thinking of getting some tren. People are idiots, i get shit on everyday from weak kids saying that the only reason I lift more is because i take protein and creatine, not my intense workouts or hard work. I guess guys have to have something to complain about.

If you don't see any changes while taking creatine, you may be one of those people who are simply non-responders. Have you tried checking out other types besides Creatine mono? Some of them have been shown to be more effective and cause different water retention for different people. I personally put on a ton of water weight, but my lifts go up too, so its a fair trade.

Also, if by Tren you mean one of the numerous PH's by that name and not an injectible you should probably keep in mind that its just as illegal, both types are Schedule III. Additionally, while I'm not sure of how old you are, but most likely you can work on honing your diet and weight routines a few more years before you can be convinced that a PH is the only way to add mass. If you still insist on doing it anyway make sure you research proper liver support and pct.

THIS. So many people think these things are wonder-drugs. Creatine just stores water, and protein is just healthy eating. Its not like I have a team of scientists genetically re-engineering me into some sort of hulk. And my changes are just as slow as everyone else. I simply have the definition because of nutrition and cardio. while they were talking in the corner of the gym, I was either running, or lifting something heavy.

If you don't see any changes while taking creatine, you may be one of those people who are simply non-responders. Have you tried checking out other types besides Creatine mono? well, if they sell it in Gnc im sure its not illegal. if i do take it, i wont be taking it till march because i have to loose weight for wrestling. But, Yeah if i do take it, ill prolly follow it with an estrogen blocker and some kidney/liver blockers to keep it as safe as possible. But, most likely i wont go on it, since i was just looking into it, and if you say its illegal i wont go on it since im only 16. Thanks for the advice, ive only tried one brand of creatine so i guess my opinion is quite biased, ill try some others out later. Aplogies for my bad grammar.

Yeah, i wish i had definition, i have alot of loose skin from when i was obese :( , I wanted to do cardio today but i had a athesma pick up, so i just did legs.
I hate when people badger on about stuff they dont know about to make themselves feel smart. seriously, my lifting partner gave me crap for 30 min once because i took protein in front of him and he said i was cheating. I wonder if he knows that all it is, is a milk bi-product and is practally the same as eating food.

Anything that requires a post cycle like estrogen blockers and liver and kidney support are pretty much pro hormones which are a gray market sale. It's legal for 6months, then it'll be illegal in 6months since FDA is really retarded about evaluating the supplement market. And yes GNC did sell pro hormones in the past, not sure about now, but it's usually in glass cases or behind the counter in a hard to see area.

If you are talking about Trenbolone it is indeed a pro-hormone / steroid. Only difference between pro-hormones and steroids is pro hormones gets converted into steroids in your body, and steroids are just ... steroids :P

With already loose skin to worry about I'd NEVER take any pro-hormones mainly cause your more suspectible to gyno (aka woman's boobs on your chest)

If your 16 do NOT take it by any means nessasary. It can royally screw up your testosterone production and endocrine system for life especially when taken before your body has ability to fully develop on it's own.

What pro hormones does is create massive amounts of hormones and testosterones for your body, but what it does in return is to shut down your own source of natural test. (aka your baby makers or your balls for short) basically people often get testicular shrinkage cause your balls will literally shut down functions because the body sees no use for it since your obtaining enough through these damn pills.

Then a post cycle is required cause when your body has too much testosterone your body compensates by raising it's Estrogen level which is the female hormone which is BAD for muscle gain or fat loss.

When you stop taking pro-hormones cause it's so terrible for your liver you have to cycle, your nuts will literally not work for a while, and if you don't take estrogen blockers you will turn grow boobs.... So you must take estrogen blockers and test boosters to get your balls to start working again properly.

Taking pro hormones is literally killing your balls and trying to jump start it back to life. Sorry I definitely would NOT do this when i'm 16 especially when a male's sexual peak is at 18. I don't want the potential of having to rely on Viagra and Cialis for the rest of my life.

You should really study more into products before you try taking it XD but yea protein is just a meal replacement. Protein powder is same as nesquick powder only difference is nesquick is a carb powder imo.

This is why i wanted your guy's input because everyone i talked to about it was real hush hush and would state the facts like you did, so thanks :]

lol np i tried to be pretty blunt about it cause it's pretty messed up stuff. Everyone's different and my friend didn't fully grow til he was 25, personally the only way I'd even consider pro-hormones is if I first exhausted EVERY option I could and still wanted to get bigger.

If every workout routine, plan or diet and safe supplements couldn't get me through a plateau I MIGHT consider it. but honestly, unless you want to become the size of a professional modern day bodybuilder, it's not needed at all.
