i've never had the guts to try a character who requires any kind of extra prop/armor.
but now i found one i really like, and she seems to be a great "begginers guide to starting armor" type cosplay. :)

first peice i'm confuseda bout is her top, i'm going to use a strapless bra and build the front chest peice onto it. the bra has wire in the front so i thought it'd be easy to mold some sort of plaster or clay over the front to shape the chest armor. so i'm new, i don't know what kind of materials would best get this job done? my knowledge of sculpy won't really help me here! :P

and then her arm shields i believe can easily be made out of either craft foam and cardboard base. but the round peices get me (the ones at her elbows).

thank you so much for helping!!! :)

This is a fairly similar design, I highly recommend going through this entire site for ideas.

I'm currently making Blackrose's armor :D I have a few progress pics of what I've done so far. In case the pics aren't that easy to understand, I cut the armor out of cardboard and paper mached it, then covered it in paperclay.

Paper mached hip plate and bracers:

Partially clayed hip plate:

Fully clayed + partially clayed hip plates:

I'm also doing the chest armor, but I don't have any pics yet. I took a strapless bra, paper mached the breast cups, and put clay over them. DO NOT PUT CLAY IN TE CLEAVAGE. I did, and it cracked when I tried it on. I have to figure out something else to do, now XP
