As I short-cutted through the scrap booking section of our local Hobby Lobby, I stumbled upon the most unexpected surprise. Steampunk accessories!! I couldn't refrain from squeeling in delight as I snatched the prize off the rack.

I've found the same gears at Michaels. Bought 2 packs of them.

BTW you can go over to the model section and pick up some gold paint (Testers $1.99) and use it to paint these. I used it on a couple of the silver sprockets and it looks great.

Ah, thanks again. I actually needed some gold paint for another project too, but the stuff I had been looking at was quite expensive for a tiny amount. I will look into that paint aswell when I go ^.^
