So I've had a tiny bit of practice with foam making a head (it was a penguin head) but that was a fairly small circle of foam. Would I be able to use foam to make someone like Chansey or Clefairy? Would shaping foam in a giant circle around my body really work? Or is there some other method I should try?
And so far I'd be using fleece for the fabric unless theres better fabric for this costume.

Pix of the costumes:

:crylaugh: thanks for the help

That should work fine, it's what they use for mascot costumes and that sort of thing.

Foam would work, I suppose... but it'll get really hot with the foam. I'd wear some sort of cooling suit or something if you do it with foam.
I've seen someone with a Venonat who used... some kind of wire, I think? Not really sure.

Plastic canvas my friend! You can build almost anything with this stuff, and even if you do cover it in fleece the suit would be away from your body, creating less heat and it's much more cost effective, it's like .69 a sheet....
