To straighten out a wig, put it on something so that the ends don't touch the ground. Then, pour hot (not too hot) water over it, as it dries, it'll straighten.
Also, after doing this a few times and your wig still isn't as straight as you'd like it... then, use a blowdryer on a low heat and blow dry it straight. But when you do, don't brush through it, put your hand underneath the section of hair you're straightening. This will help keep fibers from getting brushed out, and you'll be able to tell if the air is too hot for the wig. (If it's too hot on your hand, then its too hot for the wig)
Hope that helps.
Don't forget you can always search a forum for old threads on a subject instead of posting a new thread.
Here are a few posts:
Also, since it is a pretty low quality wig, be very careful when combing through it to reduce the amount of hairs you pull out.

Ack! be careful with the cheap walmart wigs. My friend and I just started cosplaying recently and brought quite a few of them last Halloween. One of them caught on fire while she was trying to striaght it! Check if it is flammable! and if it is think about whether it's worth blowdrying. Maybe only the hot water would work better.

It's the hot water method, step by step: ^_^

Depending on how wavy the wig starts, it can take a several times through the process to get it completely straight. Also, you should make sure you're combing it as flat as possible after it dries to help "train" the fiber to go in the direction you want.
Also, don't expect a very curly wig to ever go completely straight. And depending on the fiber quality, a cheap wig might actaully become *more* wavy if the water is too hot, because the fiber will warp.
