So I'm thinking of cosplaying Miku from Goodsmile Racing

The costume in general isn't that hard, but her shoes and head phones are giving me trouble :I

For the shoes I was thinking of going to value village and getting some white or clear pumps for the base then somehow adding on the gray parts...but I'm not sure what to use to make them look like that..foam?, cardboard?

Her headphones are giving me issues as well, I'm not sure what they really look like its hard to find photos of all angles, and I'm wondering what I should make them out of card, craftfoam, wonderflex?

The best 'side' photo I could find of her headphones

any help is appreciated thanks :)

Just saying, I LOVE that design/figure.

As for construction, maybe for the headset you can take an old pair of headphones and build over it? Make the basic shapes with cardboard and foam, and I think if you look around an ace hardware or something you'll be able to find some metal pieces that could act as the mouthpiece/round piece inset on the side. For the heels, a pair of white highheels or pumps could work, you could build over it too with layers of craft foam, cardboard, clay, etc. to get the shape of the metal pieces.

I'm no expert but I'd love to see a cosplay of this!

I know I can't wait to make it =D

Thats a good idea I could get a cheap headphone from value village or something hmm maybe I could use paperclay to sculpt them...

I'm wondering if whatever I put on the shoes would crack or fall off ): shoes are suck fickle things I have had issues with them before.
