Hey..I thought about something..Mukuro from Katekyo hitman reborn has a red eye with a sign within it..Can't remember the sign right now..But i guess that if you took this thread..You know him..So..If i were about to cosplay him..Does anyone know where i could get the contact lense? If you know what to do..Then please write it ^^ Thanks

His red eye changes throughout the battle. It changes from number 1-6 in japanese/chinese characters (一,二,三,四,五,六) depending on the illusion he wants to use. Usually it stays on the "六" character. From what I've seen, people just use red contacts.

Red contacts can be bought at various online stores.
1) Pretty Circle Lens (http://www.prettycirclelens.com/). That website is featured on the main page of cosplay.com so... I'm sure it's pretty reliable. However, you can't get them in prescription.
2) Coastal Contacts. (http://www.coastalcontacts.com/special-effects-lenses/vampire-red/prod97115.html) These you can get in prescription.

I just buy my contacts from my eye doctor in taiwan (because I need prescription.) Be of good judgment when buying. Or ask your eye doctor for options. Hope this helps~

I got mine from 9mm FX.

Please note that you cannot see out of a Mukuro contact. You will be blind on that side, which takes a lot of getting used to. These contacts tend to be extremely expensive, as well.

9mmFX custom paints each one to order, and because of this, they can take a long time to make and ship (mine came two weeks earlier than I expected, which was awesome, but you shouldn't count on things like that). And because they are a US-based company, they have to abide by health regulations here and need a valid contact prescription to fill your order. But if you plan on cosplaying Mukuro alot, and order other contacts, the exam and proper fit for your lenses is invaluable, and the expense is worth it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my crazy eye, and the photos come out beautifully, so I count it as money well spent.

TL;DR: A nice Mukuro contact will cost you an arm and leg, and you'll be blind, but if you reprise the costume enough, it's an investment, not an expenditure.

i got mine from 9mm fx as well.

it made me feel dizzy after wearing it for a long time because you are only seeing out of one eye

thats a photo of it up close.

Plus the lens is REALLY thick so it's hard to get in. Unlike my other contact lens i just kinda shoved it in there. took a long time to get used to. I don't recommended wearing it over 4 hours. I did 8 one day and i felt sick afterward

My lens was thick too. I have to use a different way of putting it in than my other contacts, and I always put that lens in second if I'm wearing contacts in both eyes. I don't have a lot of trouble wearing it, except I usually have someone I trust walk on my right so I don't crash into walls and look uncool. ^^;; But at least half my cosplays have had right eye issues (patches, excessive hair on that side, that sort of thing), so maybe I'm a little more acclimated to being without an eye on that side. Depth perception is still an issue, but I don't get sick.

But only keeping it in for a couple hours is a good idea, whether you are sick or not! You have to take good care of the eye underneath, and that means letting it breathe and, yanno, -see-.
