Hellos!!! I have a quick question 4 all u previous halibel cosplayers.... how did u go about making her tiburon? the one before the released form and what did you make it out of cause i was thinking about making it from cardboard but i'm a total newb 2 making weapons and could use a little guidance so if you can kick me in the right direction please!!! Thanks!

Cardboard, wood, or acrylic would all be great choices.
If you're looking to buy one ready-made, I believe there are a couple retailers online that sell wooden ones.
Chioky might be taking commissions for it as well, but I doubt it since it takes a little more effort to create. His commissions are also pretty pricey.
I could try making you one too. I have made several swords/weapons out of acrylic (plexiglass), but I haven't tried something like Tiburon yet. I don't imagine it would be too hard to do out of acrylic, you just have to be careful about internal stress caused by cutting out the area in the middle.
It would also be a little more costly than a usual sword due to the width and thickness of material needed to make it. You'd be looking at about $45-$50 in materials and another $30-$35 in labor for me to do it. That cost could come down in the future as I find cheaper distributors.
