FF7 Tifa's bangs:
It may seem like a simple thing cutting a bit o' bangs into hair, but I dunno..when I look at it it just looks too thick..or something. I'll probably have the rest of the costume up in this thread later. Usually the outfit that you think is the easiest turns out to be the one that haunts you in your dreams.
Also, for anyone who has ever said that working with REALLY LONG wigs is a pain in the arse..you are very correct.

I think it looks fine... Tifa's bangs aren't thin or anything. ^_^;

How did you cut the bangs? A hairdresser once told me to cut decent bangs, you pull the hair away between your fingers (fingers perpendicular to your face) and cut down. That's how hairdressers do it to human hair.
I did that once to a blue wig and the bangs curled in a bit, which looked alot like anime bangs do.

a good way to make bangs curl under easier is to cut the underneath layer a tad shorter then the outer layer. It'll help them curl under easier. Other than that I think they look good, not too thick or too thin.

Thank you so much everyone! I took the advice, thinned out the bangs a bit, and made them less uniformed and flat looking...(also better lighting helps ^^;)
Now I look less like a "Vulcan" hehe. Smilling is way too much work, though..I guess I'm too busy staring at the shiny floor.

It looks great! One thing I could suggest to make it even better is that on Tifa's left (where the bangs are cut) there is a locke of hair that curves on her cheeckbone down to her lips^_^ You could style it to curve with a bit of regular hairstyling gel if it won't curve like you want it^_^
But that's just me being a tifa-natzi XD It looks fabulous even if you don't^_^
