I'd love to do a D. Gray-man cosplay with my sister and I. But we are not allowed to buy anything online so the other option for us is to make them. Or unless we bribe a friend.

So I was wondering what is a breathable black and white fabric that we could use. And one that we can sew through since we don't own a sewing machince.I have iamges of the D. Gray-man characters if anyone wants to see below. Thank you!

I used twill for that since vinyl if really hot.

I have to agree with twill. It's what I made my Krory outfit with, it's definitely more breathable than some materials.

Depending on how many layers you have and what the weather is it can still be somewhat warm but I shudder to think how sweltering it would have been had I used vinyl or something else.

Thank you. Both of you. :) I was so tempted to try out the stuff the cncos tried for thier cosplay group. It was leather-like but I need something I can hand-sew through.

Would have been a bad idea huh? But I've never done this before so let's hop to it now. Thank you very much again. :)

Twill is good. For mine and my friend's third uniforms from D.Gray-man I used a polyester gabardine. It was really nice too.

Ok twill then. I'll be sure to write that on a list and check it out when I go shopping next time. Thank you.
