I'm cosplaying Race Queen Miku soon and I desperately need help finding the orange/yellow lycra fabric
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d127/myiuu/FIG-MOE-2343_01.jpg

I've look in basically in every fabric store in my city, my last resort is to find it online but so far I have had no luck finding the right color ):

The fabric needs to be Lycra or an Activewear fabric

Please help!

Have you checked out Spandex House? They have an orange wet look spandex (http://spandexhouse.com/products.asp?id=55&pname=Wet-look%20Spandex) that looks glossy like the art on the figure (they've also got two way stretch vinyl (http://spandexhouse.com/products.asp?pg=2&id=51&pname=Vinyl) in a similar color).
It might help in your search if you look for both spandex and lycra. They're just different names for the same material, elastane.

fyi, each computer monitor shows colors differently. There is no real baseline when you're shopping online. Some are high quality and calibrated, and close to real life color, making them more reliable. Others are cheap or don't offer calibration (which is most people's monitors) and as a result the colors can be wildly off. if color matching is important I recommend getting a physical sample first. Many companies will send you a small sample of an individual fabric, or a packet of samples of a particular type of fabric, for a very minimal cost (like $1-3). I've gotten samples from Spandex House before, but I don't know if they still do that. Worth checking, even with ebay sales.

yes, IIRC Lycra is the brand name for the spandex product. I think Dupont owns Lycra, or they used to.
