Lurked the boards and there didn't seem to be a thread on this.
Thought would be cool to see if people had an automotive interest here and to share their Motor.

Current Car: 1994 Toyota Supra (N/A)
Name(If it has one): Rem (Death Note)
Favorite past time with car: Driving through National parks/ finding good views
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: Nothing with current car saving money for next car
Dream car project: Evolution 6 with giant Eva 01 decal on side and Itasha TO THE MAAAAAAX

Well, it's a different thread here for a change. Instead of the "who can I cosplay, I got no idea" hah. Suprah ey, I've had a ride in an auto non turbo one of them. Pretty much a hopeless car for backseat passengers unless they're kids. NSW I see.

Current Car: JDM 1993 Mazda Familia 323 4WD (Turbo) Group A homologation.
Name: Tenchu (Wrath of Heaven)
Favorite past time with car: Surprising the regular hatchback drivers & Turbo BOV sounding next to peoples open windows.
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: More or less done with the modding phase, though I would love to have it decal'd up like the Group A World Rally Championship competing Mazda 323 from the early 90's.
Dream car: Wiesmann MF30 =D~ http://files.conceptcarz.com/img/Wiesmann/2006-Wiesmann-Roadster-hr-manu-030.jpg

Heh yep, she's my fave (don't really like the Japanese anime version though). I tend to like tsunderes although I'd never want to date any of them.

My previous car was done up like Mario Kart hehe. Ah memories.

Well, I had a 1991 Mazda MX-5 1.6 ltr short nose...turbo...no...but it sure was fun.

http://bluelghtning.smugmug.com/4-wheel-cages/1991-Mazda-Miata/1991-Mazda-Miata/1009842/613388458_8j5Ws-M.jpg

But alas, it could not do double duty as a dirtbike tow vehicle, so I sold it to buy a 1997 Jeep Cherokee w/4wd. It has no character, but it'll tow....and it has the power package. YAY! Maybe one day soon I'll have another "fun" car. :-/

Essentially, the Fast & the Furious treatment. Not so original anymore. & the amounts of money some people chuck at their cars is stupid, could use it to buy a huge proportion of a house instead.

Having said that though, I do like a lot of Monster Garage's stuff as well some Pimp my Ride ones.

Not my car (Since I'm only getting driving/learning privileges on it 'til Dad someday decides on another car or I get one myself), buuuut;
1981 Toyota Corolla station wagon (Bought in 2002 for $100. AWESOME deal. XD)
Favourite pastime/memory; Not much for fond memories, but I bet many of you with modern cars have forgotten what it's like to have to go outside and plug a block heater into it in -20 weather. Oh, and when we were at my Aunt and Uncle's country farmhouse, and they'd forgotten to take a "for sale" sign down for a snowmobile...and someone randomly pulls over and asks if we'll sell him the car.
Mods; Dad and I both agree, it needs a paint job. And new upholstery. For mods, for SOME reason, Dad wants a wing/spoileron it. I want to stick Rebel Alliance decals on it (reason why, is explained in the nickname)
Name; "Millenium Falcon/Fallapart". It's grey, chunky, and old. And not in showroom shape. XD (which is a shame, because if it actually had a nice exterior, we could get Classic/Historic plates for it now that it's 30 years old)

Name: Boota (Gurren Lagann) ~thought it was an appropriate name for him, lol!

Dream car: Hm...its funny b/c my friend and I promised to save up our down payment for our Evo IX and X's (respectively) :P

Current Car: 2006 Toyota Matrix
Name (If it has one): The Otamobile
Favorite past time with car: Driving to conventions, the only places where my license plate makes sense
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: I was originally going to put a Matrix code skin on it, but my boss made that little clucking noise that means, "If you do that, I will NOT be happy." I don't think he wants clients to see a black car covered in Matrix code in the parking lot. I just went with putting a "FOX" and The Boss stickers in my window.
Dream car project: I'd really like a Delorean. Currently, my husband and I are planning to buy a 2007 Subaru Outback and turn it into a neo-Ecto for our Ghostbusters franchise.

While not quite as innocent as your suggestion, I have some friends that want me to bring Squidy on one of our convention trips. This friend does a hentai panel and wants Squidy to pop his head from under the table out every so often. Alas, Squidy is too young to attend the panel (and if it came down to fitting my costume or squid in the car, I'd rather my costume).

I love that aggressive look your truck has though, looks like it could plow through a brick building with no damage taken xD

thanks! she's held up surprisingly well, since i'm pretty hard on vehicles and she's almost as old as i am. as rough as she looks she still goes down the road smoothly, and while she's not very sporty looking she doesn't drift at all until about 100 mph... which is much faster than i'd want to go in something with the aerodynamics of a brick. as far as looks, i'm going to pick up a new bed as soon as i have the money and can find one that isn't rusty, and she's getting new paint after that. i also do have a matched set of wheels that i'll put back on when i have the money (and need) for new tires. the old engine had 200,000 HARD miles on it before i spun a bearing (crap carburetor), but the parts truck i picked up for a friend had the engine from an '82 or early '83, which is stronger than an '86, and we did a complete rebuild on it. the rest of the truck will fall apart before that engine gives out

long video (and they got hold of a diesel, which is even tougher than a standard 22r!) but it shows just how tough these things are when they're not too eaten up with rust

I don't know much about cars but here's mine. It's a 2004 Chevy truck, I don't know the model. It was my dad's but I kind of took it when I got my license. Occasionally I have to drive one of their cars which I don't like. I'm closer to the ground and can't see as well as I can in the truck.

Well this is a different topic. I don't know much about cars but here is mine:

Current car: 2009 BMW 328xi (My 17th birthday present. It surprised me too)
Name: Kizuna(means Bonds)
Favorite Past Time: Driving around with my friends to random places together. The best one was the trip to Six Flags. That was amazing. ^_^

I drive a 2003 Ford Focus (one that's actually NOT a dud! XD And there were a lot of them, trust me, I worked at a ford dealership for 7 years). I'm going to be buying a new car within the next two years since mines got a lot of mileage (though thankfully no problems, yet, other than normal wear n tear issues). I originally was going to buy a new Lancer Evolution (because I luff them) but I'm thinking about buying an Escape Hybrid instead. I borrow my friends occasionally for cons and it makes a reall good con car. As you can see I must be getting old, wanting to choose a nice practical con car that gets good mileage over something pretty. XD

I drive a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport! It has 160,000 miles on it, and I love it dearly! My Jeep is my baby. We've been through a lot together.

My mom bought it new back in the day, but by 2000 she had another car so I started "borrowing" the Jeep more and more until I finally just inherited it, lol.

I always say that when my transmission or something finally goes, I'm going to remove the door off the rear (the trunk door) and turn it into a new headboard for my bed. XD

Hey. I have an '04 Focus (ZX5/2d hatchbac) that WAS a dud. I didn't help that I got it used and that it was driven into the GROUND by the previous owners.

In the 2 years that I've owned it, I've spent about $3k in repairs, the most odd being one of the brake bearings melding itself to the brake pad. And not acting as if anything was wrong (I just went to get maintinance and the shop guys were like WTFFFFF).

However, hatchbacks are awesome.

His name is Kato, and he'll be painted in bright green with black hornet stripes. I'm building the car to be a vintage racer with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing. It'll have a 2.0 liter Porsche flat four engine that should make about 130 horsepower when I'm done. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but the car will only weigh about 1600lbs. Your average Ford Focus with the same horsepower weighs in at close to 3000lbs, almost double.

i have one of those double pipe style bumpers on the back and am planning on having a friend make me a matching front bumper/brush guard, so by the time i'm done she will be able to go through a brick wall XD but this is coming after replacing rusty pieces and getting a decent bench seat. i love my buckets but having a third seat (although tiny) would be nice

considering i've had a standard 5-speed focus sedan up to 110 (it was a little scary), that car is going to be a badass when you get the suspension set up just right. maybe not much top end, but quick as hell and should corner like it's on rails

They're a kick to drive on a nice tight track. My wife has one too (it's all in one piece  ) and I love driving it when I have a chance. The weight difference makes for a VERY nice car to throw around even in street trim. This one is too stripped down to bother trying to restore to a street car, and there's a TON of rust repair to do, but when everything is finished I'll have a lot of fun taking it out to the races

Toyota Auris 1.6TR.

I've only just got it and I've got some big plans for it involving lowering springs, a trip to Germany to get a body kit fitted (then a rag round the Nurburgring) and just general making it awesome. It previously belonged to my mum so it is the ultimate family car but it goes like a scalded cat and I love it very much. It just needs a little love and some stylin' to make it interesting.

I've been into cars since I was little and my first car was a tuned Ford Fiesta. My dad always had cars in bits on the driveway or in the garage so it's inevitable that I'm a total petrolhead even though I'm female xD

Anyway, Project Auris won't happen for a few months because I am a little short of money, but when it's under way I will post some pictures.

I want to drive the 'Ring so badly. I think I've done a thousand laps on that track in Gran Turismo.

I hate you.

Will you hate me more if I tell you that I've already been there once, but as a passenger because I wasn't old enough? Dad took me round in his MG Midget, it was mental.

Driving the Ring is something I've wanted to do since I got my license. I think any true petrolhead dreams of doing it.

Yes, yes I will.

I really want to go there someday and take a Porsche out on the track.

side note kinda on the subject:
toCalifornia Sacramento area peoples my husband has just opened an auto repair shop in Rancho Cordova. Fast Dynamic Autos, hes giving good deals on repair right now because they need to get there name out, pm me if you would like more info, he will also be selling used cars.

My old car was a 1999 Honda Civic Sedan DX. It was my project car that I had a lot of fun working on, but the project was cut short when the engine caught fire on the freeway. That put it out of commission for good.

Why not give it another summon name?

I've had 4 in my lifetime:

1) Alison - '88 Dodge 600: Hand-me-down from my parents that lasted me through my senior year of high school. Then the transmission died on it. There was so much wrong with the car (part of it because it was my first and I didn't know how to maintain it properly), but it loved it because it was "mine".
2) Betsy - '87 Chevy Celebrity: I knew a little bit more about proper maintenance, so this second hand-me-down from my parents lasted me all through college. I took good care of my little old-lady car. It lasted until a few weeks after I graduated before we had to give up on it. (Something was wrong with the engine and it cost more to fix than the car was worth. I think my uncle took it.)
3) Christine - '03 Saturn L200: My first car that I bought on my own. I still laugh about my brilliant solution of holding the front bumper on with cable ties. (And it worked!) A high-speed crash into the Jersey barrier in '07 killed it (and probably should have killed me as well).
4) Deidre - '04 Volkswagen Jetta: Christine was worth $10K when I lost her and my insurance cut me a check for $9.5K, which made a nice down payment on Deidre. She's been a real trooper with all the abuse I've put her through. I've replaced the water pump (which I was expecting after my odometer hit 90K), rammed her into a deer, and driven her all over the East Coast to conventions.

I... I... I think I'll cry when I finally have to give her up. :blubber:

Yeah that was what I ended up telling my friend too. She replied I'd need a white and black motorcycle so I can call one Styria and the other Nix. That car could still be Shiva then. The only thing I could tell her was "maybe when I'm made out of money and keep all of the l33t cosplayers in my basement to make me outfits." -.-

Current Car: 2009 Kia Rio5
Name: Gem (Or Blap, since that's what it says on the license plate by chance)
Favorite past time with car: Just the general independence
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: Nothing :)
Dream car: A rollsroyce, hahaha. Most likely will never happen, but hey, it's charming to dream!

My very first car that I ever bought was a 1991 red Toyota Tercel that I called Serenity (From Firefly. Thus sometimes I also called it my "Little space ship") but it died the other year. Has a special place in my heart as the very first vehicle that I owned *sniff* though I still love and appreciate the current vehicle.

Current Car: 1997 Dodge Avenger ( has Mitsubishi engine )
Name(If it has one): Dixie ( liscense plate = DXC )
Favorite past time with car: Speeding down expressways, make believing I'm big stuff by zooming down a straight-a-way in a parking lot and making a sharp turn.
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: Spoiler, Muffler, crap load of stickers ( yes I know it's an American car, but I still want japanese tuner stickers )
Dream car project: Honda Civic Hatchback, RX-7 Efini/FD, Silvia ( Used to be heavy on Initial D, although my love for Hatchback Civics came before that )

My first car ( given to me for free by a couple at church ) was a 96 Saturn Sedan ( also named Dixie ) I fell in love with it, and a bitch ( pardon my language ) blew a light while I was turning. Hadn't cried that hard in years.
Second car was a '94 Chevy Blazer. Lemon. Bought from a shady dealership.
Third cas was a '92 Mercury Sable. Guy had just put all new stuff in it. Sounded BEAUTIFUL when my dad and I started it up. Lasted under 6 months. I drove a girl home one day. And I had another friend ( another girl ) with me, and after I dropped subject A off, I drove up a hill and stopped at a light. Got ready to make a turn, and my car just breaks down on me. Come to find out the whole bottom of my car collapsed.

HA. Me posting about cars.. hiLARious.

Current Car: 96 Nissan Maxima
Name(If it has one): Jacques Masaharumorimoto Yep. My car is named after the Iron Chef.
Favorite past time with car: Riding down the highway, singing whatever at the top of my lungs.
Hunting for it in the lot. Jacques is basically a ninja. Can't find it EVER. ALSO, calling to it in French while I'm with friends to freak them out. Always entertaining.
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: I think *cleaning* it would be an enormous plus.. it needs new back tires too..
Dream car project: The Mystery Machine. I've wanted to drive the Mystery Machine since I was 4.

PICS: Don't have any, but Jacques is lavender with a "My Kid is Hockey Player" sticker, a "Hey I'm Related to a Cop" sticker, and Kean and Rutgers parking stickers from the previous owners. Also a sticker with crayons that says "Color outside the lines, it really pisses some people off." That one's mine.

What mods are you hoping to do with your car: Absolutely nothing. My dad wants to get LED tire valve caps, but we've looked everywhere and can't find them.

Current Car: (Don't know the year) Lexus IS250 (not really my car, just one that my parents leased so that I could drive it. I'm 17yrs old, got my license in December 2010). Also, not my preferred car. It doesn't really suit my personality. I feel weird and kinda high maintenance when I drive or step out of it. I think my parents leased it so I blend in more with the people in my town (In my town it is normal for a high schooler to drive a brand new Mercedes, BMW, Porsche etc).
Name(If it has one): Black Lexus Thing (that's how I refer to it when people ask what I drive)
Favorite past time with car: None yet. I don't particularly like driving. lol And the idea of having a car weirds me out a bit
What mods are you hoping to do with your car: Can't do anything. It's leased. If I could, I would tint the windows and maybe change the rims on it. Like this (http://www.clublexus.com/forums/attachments/is-second-generation/125912d1214152705-my-black-lexus-is250-with-fabulous-mb-5-rims-dsc00019.jpg)
Dream car project: This is weirdly specific but, I want a Scion xB. Black exterior and interior. Black and red rims (if possible), kinda like this (http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels/images/Maki-black_red.jpg) or this (http://www.pitstopwheels.com/images/uploads/Hipnotic_360_Red_Inserts.jpg). Tinted windows (Oh I love tinted windows). And I would want a small-ish razor decal to put on the center of the sides of the car, with the red line that goes through the Sweeney Todd logo, going around the car. License plate that reads SWNY TOD (since i cant fit more letters)
