Okay. >n< So-I sorta, kinda need help with these two cosplays. Vio, from Four Swords Plus ( Yes. The manga version. ) I know what I can do for the tunic, but I'm having a hard tiem on the belt.

What do I do?

Do I just get a normal, black belt and put that yellow-spiral thingie on it, or do I get fabric and go from there? I'm confused on it. I dunno which one sounds better.

The hat, too. Is it good to buy one online?

Also- the four sword. D: I'm not skilled at makign props such as swords. And not only this- I plan to make a bow, and some arrows. How do I do this. As well as a book, but that stands out. xD And my friend and I have been arguing about this.

Pants, or tights?

I'm saying tights, but she's saying pants. Cause we're doing a Four Swords cosplay at Anime Expo- we were arguing about what it was between tights and pants. So...

Wind Waker : I'm good. I'm doing the pyjama version while my friend is Aryll. It'll probably be cute. <3

But- the wind waker. How do I make that?! D: If anyone's ever cosplayed as this Link- what did you do to make it?

And the ears- any tips on how to make them, or where to buy them from?

As for the belt, I'd suggest getting a strip of black leather from your local fabric/craft store and making your own belt! It's not difficult, and making the spiral belt buckle would be a fun challenge.

For the hat? Honestly I'd make it yourself so it matches your tunic. Purple is a difficult color to match without seeing in person, so it'd be safer to make it. The best material I've found to make the hats out of is honestly t-shirt fabric, because it has the most give to it, which makes it stay on your head quite easily!

As for the props, there are a ton of great prop making tutorials online, you should check a few out!

As for legs, I say tights because they're the most accurate, but whatever you do, you all should do the same thing.

For my friend's Link cosplay (Same style as vio, different game.), I just got a brown belt from a clothing store and used that. As for the belt buckle, I made it out of cardboard which I painted. Underneath the buckle, there were two little elastic hair ties which I glued to the buckle. What we did was slip it onto the side of the belt before she put it on, and when she had it on, we would slip the new buckle over the one on the actual belt. This way, we could use the belt for other, future cosplays if needed.

Sorry for the long-ness of that paragraph. ^^; To be honest, I say tights. Also, there are nice tutorials online for the hat.

Well, I have no idea as to how to help you with Vio, but with the Wind Waker you could try making it out of clay or foam. It's a simple enough design.

I'd personally say tights. Unless you're doing TP or Skyward Sword Link, I've always preferred tights :o

And for the ears, if it's no problem ordering online here's a website that sells excellent quality pairs.

They also have kits that come with spirit gum included to attach them, and coloring materials to adjust them to your skin tone more perfectly. Personally, I've seen other Link cosplayers use the Large Elf ears and the Anime ears if they ordered from this site. I myself have the Large Elf ears, and their wonderful. Stay on all day and even through napping :D

You read the manga series and like Vio? COOL! I like Vio too! I can't wait to see your cosplay of him! LOL!
