The flowers are driving me insane!! I'm not really sure how to go about them. I've got everything else done and saved the skirt for last because I don't know how to approach it. I have green dress satin (the kind used on prom dresses). I can buy a different fabric but really wanted it to look authentic so whatever I use needs to appear satiny.

I can't draw to save my life so painting is out of the question unless you think commissioning it would be a good idea? I dunno. I have 3 months until con and only get to work on it during the weekends. :waaaah:

Any ideas?

Should I use two different colored fabrics for this?

What I'd do is go to Micheals/Hobby Lobby, and pick up a few rose stencils, white, green, pale pink, dark pink fabric paint or screen printing ink. And before working on your pretty green satin, play around with the stencils and paint/ink until your satisfied. Make a mock up of the skirt, adding in the all the flowers.
