Ask Lillyxandra! Her picture on her profile she has some really cute lil elven ears! PM her and I betcha she would tell you where to get um' or how she made them! ^_^

I don't know how she did hers, but I like these ones (just tilt them at a bit of an angle when you glue them on so they don't go up and back as much) -
The Pro Artist ears. This is the place that puts them out, and they have the best price to my knowledge.
lilyxandra bought her elven ears at this alva store, it's a Faerie Fashion store
great store, there wings are pretty good too ^_~

I looked at that one cinema secrets store and the only ears that looked good were the troll ears but you can't really see um that well.

Ooh! Ooh! I can be useful! *flails*
I'm planning on using that technique for some monkey man ears! XD

yep you can buy them at http://geekiness.org/alva/ears.htm . they only cost 15$ plus shipping. They are very comfy^_^ here are some better pics of them http://geekiness.org/alva/customer.htm. ^_^ i love deedlit!

Considering I have one of the Cinema Secrets elf ears right next to me, yes they would work for Deedlit. Like I said, in the picture they have them mounted straight up and back, but you can attach them to your ear at a different angle. I'm using mine for Dotta-chan from Bakuretsu Hunters. They're 6 inches long, if you want longer than that looks like you have other options anyway . . .

Ayaka do you know which elf ears to use? I'm so stumped with that cinema secrets site. Do you have a picture of the ears you used? it would help me SOOOO much if I knew which ones you purchased.
06-06-2002, 12:02 PM
Hrm, I don't have a picture, sorry. (I could take one I guess, lol.) Here's how to get to them - go to "Woochie", "Classic Woochie", "Ears and Horns", and click on the third picture - it's a troll guy. They're called Pro Artist ears. Unfortunately you'll have to use the old order form, they have the full line of assorted wounds (lol) but not the Pro Artist ears in the new web shop.
I bought my pair in a costume shop, btw. I asked for Woochie Pro Artist ears, and that's what I got. ^^

I was gonna order those about two months ago. I have a question though for you all who HAVE ordered them. Are they smooth? or are they all lumpy and gnarledlookin?
06-09-2002, 02:10 AM
Mine have some flaws in them, little bumps. But most of them are on the back, they don't show really. Probably better to get them in person than online if you can, so you can make sure you get the best pair.

08-03-2003, 07:35 PM
grrrr. darn.. site went dead :|
08-04-2003, 08:14 PM
That's crazy how we use the same sites for ears, but then again there aren't exactly many places one can go for this kind of stuff.
08-05-2003, 12:00 AM
Can anyone give a direct link to the ears? I looked on that costume site, and didn't see any troll looking guy at all O_o
here's a direct link to the woochie ears:
It's nearly halloween "season", which means that costume and party shops should be overflowing with stuff like this.
08-05-2003, 02:48 AM
Cool, thanks duck :) I think as soon as back-to-school is over, they begin the halloween goodness, so I'll be sure to check it around. I'll hold on to this link tho, just in case :)

just my little tip on ears. when doing elf ears i use a little bit of scar wax (usually found at costume supply stores) to blend the elf ear in with my own ( so you don't have that plastic seam thing) then cover the entire thing with my foundation so that it matches my skin tone. this works really well and you get a very natural looking ear
08-11-2003, 05:13 PM
WAH! I can't find any ears that I may need... -.- Phooey... Hmm... Maybe I'll ask PikminLink where he got his
08-12-2003, 04:51 PM
I have been searching for good ears everywhere. I am not cosplaying Deedlit, but I am actuallty cosplaying myself :::grins::: at the Furry Art Convention in Rosemont, in November. Too bad I cant make my own :::cries::: Thanks for the providing links :D I'll keep this thread on watch

do you guys know anywhere to get blue pointy ears? cause I need some for my Zelgadis costume... would painting them blue just work?
uck.... I hate sounding all stupid and all.... but I'm really new to all this -_-;;

If your looking for giant anime type ears the http://www.firefly-path.com/ has really awesome one.
here's a pic from their site: http://www.firefly-path.com/images/gallery/nevaeh/nevaeh213Elfs.jpg
hope this helps :)

I dont think you should tempra paint them. Globs = mess. I would SPRAY paint them, but lightly, so that it is more even, and then put some kind of clear addhesive over it so that the paint doesn't flake off ^^
