Errr... why don't you just email the owner of that site and ask them how they made it? ^^

IMO, one of the best parts about creating costumes is finding your own ways to make things, rather than creating them in the impression of other people's work.

I did ask the creator of the costume and I haven't got a reply yet!
I'm not coping it either. I just want to know a way in which I can make the head for it!

Well, even if you like to design everything yourself, there isn't anything wrong with asking for advice. I don't know how one would go about making that giant head so I would ask someone else how they did it. ^^ Have you tried searching the web for some sites on mascot making? I know there are some out there...

Good idea...I'll go look. I finally got the material! I found some big fuzzy white material to make the body out of!! I'm gonna stick a wire in the head and attach a clown nose to it to make the thingy (whatever you call it) and I'm gonna find some shiny purple to make the wings out of. I still don't know how to make the eyes look squinted and stil be able to see out of it though...

Actually, I think Mandy Mitchell is selling a Meowth costume she made... (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2335) You could ask her how she did the head, maybe?

The eyes don't have to match up with where your eyes are! It might be easier to put something see through somewhere else on the head... like, maybe some white or red mesh material over a small area for your eyes (something you can see out of, but which still looks pretty solid). ^^ Just a thought.

yeah, I was thinking somewhere along those lines for the eyes. I know that moogle eyes are very very small!!

Thanks! Your Moogle costume is so cute!! I was running late on time so I had to go with paper mache. I may fix the head a little bit after Halloween passes cause I won't have enough time! I like the way you made the eyes! :)

Heki-chan, that is one of the best Moogle costumes I've ever seen! How long did it take you to make that? And what did you use to make the eyes?

LOL! i duno wht made me giv him pissed-off eyes^_^ but i like it^_^
The head took about 2 days of non-stop working X_X and the jumpsuit was made from a simplicity pattern and that took about a day or so^_^ I thought itd be impossible, but after making it into an orange-slice-type-thing it wasnt too bad^_^ came together pretty easily :) *sigh of relief* lol!

LOL! the eyes are done with black pantyhose, or else eric (guy who wears it) would suffocate/be blind^_^; pantyhose is great for mascots cuz its stretchy and it wont fray lik sheer fabrics^_^ (hot glueing it is really painful tho...got SOOOO many burns from Mog and Qactuar ooomg X_X)

Hikaru! Do u happen to hav a piccie of your moogle? cant wait to see!^_^

Mine isn't completed yet ;_; but it will be soon! I decided at the last minute to make the head using wires to get an almost round shape. The paper mache head creeped me out when I wore it becuase it was so small and had a roten egg smell because of the glue (yuk!!)!!! I'll post a pic as soon as possible! My scanner isn't working so it may take longer than I expect. This is my first costume so it won't look that great to you guys but I tried!! :)
