Hi!
I would like to do a Zatanna costume for SDCC this year (probably this version http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/6e/Zatanna.JPG ). I really don't have the tailoring skills to be able to sew her jacket from scratch, so I'm looking at places to buy it.

I did come across http://www.fan-store.net/servlet/the-591/Magician-Costume-Tuxedo-Suit/Detail which seemed pretty nice, and I've read good reviews for fan + friend (other than the whole lumberjacked spam thing), but I'm worried it's going to be more costume quality than actual clothing quality. I've checked around some tuxedo shops, but the cost of the jackets are pretty expensive and then I'd have to alter it and I'm not sure that I would be able to do it nicely.

Does anyone a) have any suggestions, perhaps people who have done Zatanna could tell me where they may have gotten their coat, or b) see any problems with the one that I linked that would be a dealbreaker?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Last year my daughter wanted to do a zatanna. I scoured the second hand shops for a coat and found a bunch that fit the needs. I then simply shortened the sleeves and adjusted the lapels. if you wanted the tails I would get a longer one and alter it to fit your liking. plus you won't spend a fortune and if it was the wrong color you could always dye it black or dark blue depending on your preference.
