Hey guy's,

I've just got into this because my fiancée loves the phoenix Wright games and well I wanted to do something I can chuck on to cheer her up if she's maybe had a bad day. I figure I might do a few from games and such I like as well and wear them to cons but that's for a future project.

Right for those who don't know here's what I'm looking at:

I've got the hat sorted mostly I'll just need to sew the papa onto it but the hoodie I can't seem to find about and the same with his necklace.

Any help is much appreciated :D

When I did hobo-Nick, I just went to a local thrift store and looked for a plain grey hoodie. Got it for a buck, and sewed blue bias tape up the sleeves - quick and easy and cheap. ;)

The necklace was definitely a little harder. I found a locket about the right shape at a craft store for a couple bucks, but it had a floral engraved design on it. I wound up painting over it with a couple layers of gold paint just to smooth it out. Then printed out a picture of Trucy, glued it inside, and got a couple feet of chain from the local jewelry-making shop to hang it from.

I actually just did this cosplay at Anime Boston. What I did for the hoodie was similar, in that I just found a plain gray one and then added stuff to it. I used a safety pin to replace the original pullstring with a blue one, and then I painted the stripes with blue fabric paint.
For the necklace, I got a really cheap gold-colored chain necklace thing and a generic round, kinda flat charm bead thing at a craft store, and then wrapped the bead in gold foil so that the bottom looked longer like it's supposed to.
